Today while Port was sleeping me and Mykell had a little fashion show! We tried on some of her new clothes that she got from her birthday from her Great Grandma, Aunts and Grandmas!! Yay for new clothes. Spring here we come!!

Yesterday we tended Mykell's friend, I got my hair done, when I came home they were all dressed up and accessorized! Look how cute!

Mykell's B-day celebrations started Saturday when we went to see Elliot's family! I forgot my camera but Grandma Debbie came to the rescue! Hopefully I can have picture of that to post soon! Elliot's Grandma Dixie made the best dinner. Soft foods so Mykell can eat them!

I know this collage has a lot of writing, it will print in an 8X10 size when I print if off. If it's too hard to read, I will interpret! Mykell fell down today while she was at the park with Elliot. She made him pretty nervous because she was bleeding a lot. When he looked in her mouth her front tooth was bent back and another looked "broken". He took her strait to the dentist. He said she was pretty upset most of the way there and then was kind of in shock and very quiet. They did x-ray's grinded down a couple teeth. They left her front tooth in for now, and are going to see if it will grow back in. She has to eat soft foods for 2 weeks, then we go back. If the tooth comes out he can make her a temporary bridge (a retainer with a tooth) who knows if she would keep it in! She has some pretty bad cuts on her lips and gums so she is using a mouthwash to prevent infections. She has bumps and bruises all over her face, poor little girl!

Last night we were giving Porter a nebulizer treatment, he was holding still and actually leaving the mask on, so we took a picture or two. Then I remember that it has almost been one year since his fist treatment. I got out the picture, how cute huh. His cute little blue eyes, but boy his has grown up. Now he is no longer a baby, but a cute little boy. He is the best little guy, so sweet and well manered. He loves people, and rarely cries. But the poor guy gets sick A LOT. This is his third bad cold since December. This past year he has had RSV, pneumonia, croup, a bad allergic reaction, 3 ear infections, swine flu, and several, several colds. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The nebulizer helps him breath a little better, but still he can't breath too well sleeping, so he is up most of the nights. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Saturday me and Mykell and our friends Emily and Halle went to Disney on Ice. We had so much fun. We dressed the girls up the as the same princess, and Emily did their hair in up-do's, they looked so grown up, it was a bit sad!! But darn cute too!

It is so fun to do stuff with them. Me and Emily have been friends for so long, I just LOVE having little girls the same age.

I know Mykell looks pretty serious in the pictures, but she had a GREAT time!! We got seats on the 2nd row, it was soo much fun!

Mykell had so much fun trick or treating!! We went to my mom's and some of her neighbors. We decided to call it quits when Mykell told the last house that she didn't need any candy, I wish I had that control!! She looked so cute and was so happy, it was really fun! Too bad we had to leave Toto and the Scarcrow at home. We will get them together this week sometime!

I have been working so hard on my kids costumes this year. The first of the week Mykell started to get sick and I was so worried that it was the Swine Flu. We had soo many plans this weekend, Halloween, Parties, and Elliot's birthday is Monday. Thursday she finally had no fever, but still a bad cough. Thursday night my little guy started getting sick. By Friday morning he was wheezy, and coughing, and had a bad fever. I took him to the doctor (mostly because Port gets really, really bad respiratory problems) and he also thinks we have the flu...NOOOOO! So being the bad mom that I am, I made my sick kids dress up in thier costumes tonight all for the sake of pictures!! This was actually the best little Port felt all night, poor guys! But you have to admit they look pretty darn cute!

Mykell has had so much fun making friends this year. She is soo outgoing and LOVES people. These are a couple cute friends that are in our ward. This is the best pictures I could get of the group. Three year olds don't always cooperate with pictures!!

Mykell got sick this Monday. I knew it was supposed to snow on Tuesday and that she would be so sad if she couldn't go outside. Tuesday I let her go all bundled up for just a few min. I know I may be a bad mom, but she had SO much fun!

My family gets together most Sunday's for dinner. It is always fun to be together, I really look forward to it. This Sunday, my dad wanted us to take a family picture. My Grandpa was there, and this was the first picture with us all together since befor Porter was born I think! It is just a random picture, and we are all squinting into the sun but nice to have. Then my dad took Porter and Mykell for a ride in the lawn mower. He let Mykell drive and it was darn funny. Thanks Hannah for sending me the pictures!!

Lost in Walmart, ahhhhhh!!

So all you that know me know that I always have a lot of Mykell stories. The girl is CRAZY fun, and well sometimes just plain CRAZY!! Today we were in Walmart (I know the story is bad enough just knowing it is Walmart). Anyways, I was picking out some window cleaner turned around and Mykell was gone. I looked for about 5 minuets and couldn't find her anywhere. I was about in tears when I went up to a women employee. I told her my daughter ran away and that I couldn't find her. She asked for a description. I told her she had long light brown hair, white shirt, and blue pants. She repeated it back to me and said "Okay so blond hair, brown pants and a black shirt" WHAT???? We did this about three times, all the while I was running horrible lost child possibilities through my head. She finally goes up to another employee and says we need to page for a lost child. She has blond hair, brown pants and a white shirt (at least she got the shirt part right!). We were on our way to page, and Mykell comes running up to me and said "I found you Mom, I was playing hide and seek." I have never been so excited to see her in her life. I had been so nervous. I asked her where she was and she said she was hiding behind the toilet paper in boxes, and running up and down by the dresses. I told her I was so scared and was looking for her. I asked her if she saw me looking for her and she said she did, but she was hiding. AHHHHHHHH!! Needless to say we have had a very very long discussion about NOT playing hide and seek in stores. I know that most people have lost kids in stores, but it is really scary. I'm just glad that everything is okay. Now I have yet another Mykell story!!

A few weeks ago we went up to Tony Grove. I didn't know, but Elliot had never been. We packed up a picnic and did a little fishing, and walked around the lake. It was fun, and great weather. We even took Bentley who had a blast!!! Defiantly something we need to do again soon!

As I am SOOOO behind in blogging here are some pictures of our trip to the fair. We dodged the weather and had a fun time. Mykell was tall enough to ride a lot of rides. Porter could only ride the carosel, but had a blast with it! We had a little dinner, and saw the animals as well (also a kid pleaser!!). It is so fun to take my kids to placed I had fun growing up. It's like starting all over through them! I LOVE it!

I have gotten SOOO behind in blogging. We once again have had many changes that have happened in our lives, and I am now trying to get caught up. When better that to start than with my little guy's first birthday!! On his birthday he was walking 6 or 7 steps inside. A couple weeks ago we went with Elliot's family to Dinosaur park. It was REALLY hot, but we had so much fun. Everyone from his family was able to come, which made things great!! Mykell was a little scared of the dinosaur noises, and the robotic dinosaurs, but had so much fun. Porter was quite interested in it all!

After the park we went and ate at Texas Roadhouse. The food was great, unfortunately someone told the waitress that it was me and Quincy's birthday. I was SO embarrassed they had us sit on a saddle while the yelled about our birthdays. We really had a lot of fun. I LOVE spending time with family!!

My Birthday was July 27th the day before little Port's. The weekend before me and Elliot got to go to Salt Lake for the weekend. We had so much fun. We haven't been away in such a long time and had a blast!! We stayed at fun places, went to movies and ate at restaurants without kids!!! I had so much fun relaxing and having fun with my best friend!!

Porter and Radley are so cute together. We took them to the park a couple weeks ago. I though this picture was so cute of them reading books together!! They are starting to really interact, and they are sooo cute!

Mykell loves her cousin Talon. I can't believe how little he is, it's crazy to think Porter was the same size only a year ago. Time flies!!

Mykell LOVED swimming. She can't wait to do it again. She still talkes about her teacher Whitney, and practices her "moves!!"

4th of July

Elliot and Mykell went with his family to the Stadium to watch the fireworks. I stayed home because I am STILL not feeling well. I went out on the front porch and took Bentley and we were going to watch together. I got feeling guilty that Port was going to miss his 1st fireworks so I woke him up. He was so cute and LOVED them. I don't have pictures of mykell at the stadium but I'm told she LOVED them as well!

The next day Elliot made us a great breakfast then he loaded up my kids (I know I have a GREAT husband) and went to Paris for the parade and spend some time with his family. Since he was in charge of the picture taking I don't have many. He said Mykell had fun at the parade (she came home with TONS of candy). Porter stayed in the stroller. He got a cute picture of Radley and Porter, it's fun seeing them grow up together. I wish I would have come!

When he came home we all went over to my parents for a BBQ. My cute sis-in-law Hannah was there (one day after her due date!), she even let me take a cute picture (thanks)!! We had wonderful food, and played volleyball. Well me and Hannah sat out and cheered them on. You might notice on the bottom right of the collage my 3 weird brothers. Brett the one looking for a spouse picking his nose, Travis the almost dad in some weird kind of fashing statement and Josh actually being pretty normal. Do you wonder how I turned out as normal as I did?? Mykell had fun running all over and porter loved getting snuggles from his family! To end the night we had some fireworks. All in all a great 4th~~ Thanks everyone!

So I'm trying not to make this post too boring, but I have a lot to say and remember. This year has once again been a difficult one for me and my family. We have LOVED our kids and them growing and learning and loving. But it seems like we have been hit with many challenges. Now I understand that life brings challenges but it seems like we have had more than our share. Most of this year I have not felt good and been quite worried that something has been very wrong. Porter has been sick, Mykell had been sick and even Elliot, so I haven't felt like I could take the time to really figure out what has been wrong with me. Finally a couple weeks ago, almost, I got to the point it couldn't be ignored anymore. I am so thankful for our family that has once again stepped up and help us out. It kind of has felt like a repeat of last year (when I was pregnant). Last weekend my mother-in-law came and picked up Mykell for the weekend. Mykell LOVES her Grandma Debbie so much. She had a blast. My parents helped with Porter and I was finally able to get some relief and after quite a few invasive and embarrassing days was able to get some answers. Luckily nothing too bad is wrong, but I'm also quite discouraged because there are no easy solutions and I am just going to have to learn how to live with things I would rather not. But ANYWAYS to put a long story short, once again I am amazed at how wonderful families are and how much people can really be there for you when you are down. I am amazed at how much a phone call can mean, and I appreciate all of you that have been there for me. Enough for my sob story, while Mykell was visiting her Grandma, Elliot went up to check on her and Grandma Debbie took the most beautiful pictures of my little kids. I LOVED them all and here are a few of my favorites. Thanks SO much Debbie!

Teton's and Yellowstone 2009!

Every year my family goes and camps at Teton National Park, and Fishes at Yellowstone national park. This past weekend was our trip. We have been pretty excited about it for a while. We missed last year due to my pregnancy so were really ready this year! We left Friday and due to some problems came home late Sunday night! Here is a little about our trip!

Porter, for the most part enjoyed his trip! He loved being with his family, he wanted to eat EVERYTHING! He was a little upset we didn't let him crawl around in the dirt. He did NOT enjoy the nights, they were cold, dark and wet! So he and his dad enjoyed some middle of the night drives through the park. He really loves his grandparents and uncles he have his cute smile around a lot, he didn't even complain about the rain! Porter LOVED the camp food, maybe too much! Sunday morning he woke up with hives, and through the day they got worse and made him start going hoarse. We got pretty worried and that is why we left at night! (more on that later!)

Mykell LOVED, LOVED, LOVED camping!! She loved everything about it, the fishing (with her spider man pole!) the hiking, the geysers, the umbrella's, the fires and s'mores, the company and the animals (did you know that Yellowstone had Water Buffalo and whales?? She slept with mom in my sleeping bag and was quite the snuggler! She was so excited that I think she talked non-stop for three days! The rain put a damper on everyone but her. She LOVED it! Grandma Teri had gotten her a pink Dora umbrella before we left and she walked around and around in it! She really was fun, and a good sport!

I am always amazed at the beauty that is there! It is beautiful everywhere! I just can't get enough, these are a couple of the scenery pictures that I got. Because they have been getting so much rain everything was green!

Well as far as the fishing goes, Elliot is the only one that caught a fish in our little family. He caught (and released) this pretty big fish. He was pretty proud of it, and so was Mykell!! All in all we had a fun trip. Camping isn't easy with little ones, but we are pretty blessed with cute little kids!

I have absolutly LOVED getting outside this year. I missed it SO much last year. My plants and garden are getting bigger, I LOVE IT! Mykell loves her trampoline, and Porter is always up for whatever! The weather has been great, minus being sick this spring/summer has been so much fun! We are looking forward to camping, picnics and the beach! YAY for SUMMER!

10 months already!

I cannot believe that my little guy is 10 months old! He has been such a fun guy for us. This month he learned to crawl and climb~~yes I know my life got busier! He talks a lot, plays a lot, and sleeps a little! He now has six teeth, four on top two on the bottom! He loves to play with his sister and his dog. This month he got his second ear infection, and had a battle with the croup and came out great! He is LOVING this eating buisness. I can't believe how big he is.

So, yes I know that I have not blogged for a LONG time. We have had a bit of a hard month, but are now all doing well. We have had the flu, sinus infections, croup, ear infections~~ you name it! Everyone of us has had something. So blogging was not my top priority. We were just kind of making it through. Now we are all well and starting up our summer! Saturday we decided to go to Bear Lake. I know I know, Bear Lake in MAY??? But it was SO much fun! It was warm, but not hot. The water was even warm enough to swim in. This was Porter's 1st trip, and he had so much fun. Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Kirk came and we had a lot of fun seeing them. Porter played in the sand, a little tent and took a little nap with Grandma!!

Mykell has been so excited to go swimming this summer. She picked out her own swimsuit and everything. She had a blast at the lake. We got her a blow up walrus that she could ride on and we all took turns pushing her through the water. She was so good, and can't wait to go again!

Elliot got his jeep and brought it down to the lake and we all took turns going for rides! It is pretty fun, and he is so excited about it. I was surprised at how good it drives! This will be fun to take on drives~~hopefully we can get it home sometime this summer!

Anyways, we are back and haveing fun, and are SO excited about the summer!

What a week!!

This week has been so much fun for me. I was home with the kids all week (which means I work the next few days, oh well). I LOVED being home so much. Hopefully someday that will be normal. We had some good times, sad times, but mostly fun times. For FHE we went shopping and finally got the kid's Easter present, our new trampoline. Mykell LOVES it!! We don't have the enclosure up yet, but soon we will. She has had so much fun every day. She had a fever and was sick on Tues night-Thursday, but still wanted to jump. She would jump a couple times then lay down. Also new for her I cut her hair, ahhh. I don't think I did the best job, she doesn't seem to mind!

I also was FINALLY able to plant flowers and bushes in my back yard flower beds. We made the flower beds, but I was too sick last year to plant in them. I'm so excited to see them develop now. I love them so far. I also planted some bulbs, I can't wait to see how it turns out. I LOVE working in the yard. I missed it soo much last year. Now that Mykell has some fun things to do outside, it should be easier for me to be out there!

Then there is Port, he seems to have changed so much for me this week! He is officially in the four tooth club. His fourth tooth broke through earlier in the week. He is still not a crawler, but is now a climber. He can pull him self up. He only wants to stand if someone will help him. He is able to move himself on the floor (without crawling) to reach anything he wants. He cries now when I leave the room. Which can be hard, but cute as well. Because of the new climbing phase he had his first fall :( he fell of the bed and has two little sores, one by his eye, and the other above his ear. Sad!

Also this week, Elliot was able to find some parts for his new/old jeep. He got a roll bar and a back seat. He is quite proud of himself. Me well, I just loved being with my kids. It's amazing how much goes on in a week!

San Diego

Last week I was able to go to San Diego with my Mom and Sister-in-law Hannah. We had so much fun. We fit an awful lot into three days! Here are some of my highlights!!!

The first day we spent at Sea World, it was a blast. I wondered if you needed kids with you to have a good time, but we had so much fun! It is amazing what they are able to get the animals to do. I loved all the shows, it wasn't very crowded so we got around to everything in a short amount of time! Later that evening we walked around Old Town and ate at a great Mexican Restaurant!

The next day we went to the San Diego Zoo. We walked and walked and walked. I was AMAZED that we saw all of it. It was HUGE! We each had a favorite animal. Mine was the Panda's, Hannah's was the Koala Bears, and my mom's was the Giraffe!! There was a little baby Giraffe that kept running into the shelter to see it's mom then back out, it was soooo cute!

We were so exhausted after the zoo, but we went to the Temple and walked around and took some pictures. I loved it. It is truly beautiful! I am always amazed at the spirit you feel, but by being near the Temple! Then we ate dinner across the street at the California Pizza Kitchen--Yummmm!

Our last day we walked around the Beach~~~I LOVE THE BEACH!! I love the sound of the ocean, and the calmness it brings. It was beautiful and great weather! We were on Coronado Island, we walked around a bit. Did a little shopping, then grabbed lunch at a cute deli. I had so much fun. Missed my family a lot, but had a blast. Then to top it all off, Elliot and the kids surprised me and picked me up at the airport!!

I forgot a couple things to add to my last post. First the beautiful scenery. I thought that San Diego was so beautiful. Here are a couple of the things I loved!

Next, we stayed in my Grandpa's house in San Diego, It was so cute and cozy! It was great to have a comfortable place to come back to each night. We loved it!

Easter

We were so happy that Easter turned out to be pretty good weather! Mykell was excited to find the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid. Their present wasn't ready yet but they had a couple little toys to play with. They looked so cute in their Easter outfits! As usual Mykell wasn't much of a picture taker that day! That afternoon we went to my parent's for and Easter dinner and an Easter egg hunt! My Grandpa Dunkley came, as usual it was great to see him. Mykell loved looking for candy and Eggs with her uncles. She employed Uncle Brett as the baby holder (see the picture, it's kind of cute!). We had to hurry home so I could get to work. All in all it was a great day!

Coloring Eggs!

Tonight we colored Easter eggs, it was SO much fun. Mykell LOVED it! This was the first year she understood and had fun doing it. Now she is so excited for the Easter Bunny to come and hide her eggs. It was a messy endeavor, but so much fun. I hope the nursery leaders understand the dirty fingers tomorrow! Even with a bath we are still stained!

The Frogs

These are the little frogs (if you can see them), that Mykell got yesterday!! Yay they are still alive! You can't see them well, but she is pretty proud of her little frogs. Baby Animal Day

Elliot, his mom, my Sister-in-law Kelli and the kids all went to baby animal day on Friday. I was pretty sad to have missed this, but I needed to be getting a quick nap and getting ready for work. I think they had a blast. Mykell hasn't stopped talking about it. She keeps telling me we need to go back and hold the ducks again! They got to see the Easter Bunny, but unfortunately Mykell was too scared, so no picture, oh well! She even won a couple tiny frogs (won meaning we paid for them!). She LOVES the frogs, (me, not so much!). I hope I can go next year, but in the mean time I have some cute pictures!~

Elliot's Jeep

So yesterday I finally got to "meet" Elliot's jeep. He inherited the jeep last fall, and has been missing it all winter. I had yet to see it until yesterday. He is so excited about this thing. It looks like a lot of work to me but seems like it is going to be fun. It was his Great Grandpa's jeep and his Great Grandpa had added neat things to it like horseshoes around the tail lights and other things. Elliot's can't wait to work on it and take Porter for a ride!

Mykell also had a GREAT time this weekend. She LOVES going to Grandma Debbie's, she has so many things to play with and do. She would have been happier if it was warmer weather, but that will come. She was so tired when we got home she just CRASHED and slept in until 10! That little girl know's how to play hard.

Conference Weekend

We had so much fun going to Paris on Sunday. Conference was great and so was the company. I hadn't been down since Christmas (AHH). We got to visit with Elliot's grandparents, where I got the cutest picture of Porter and his Great Grandma! Grandma Debbie also took some cute pictures of Porter, I just LOVE his big blue eyes! He was so good even though he hardly naped. It was a great day!

April Fools

So for this beautiful warm 1st day of April we decided to put on our April best and build a SNOWMAN???!!! Oh, well warm weather will come again I'm sure (actually it isn't too cold out, just a lot of snow!). I know our snowman isn't the best, but the snow is really wet and the middle part got smooched. Anyway Mykell loved it. And Port just loved being outside. Happy April everyone!

Oh, Oscar!

So anyone that has been to our house in the past couple of years has probably met Oscar. Oscar is a scarecrow I bought a few years ago to go the the porch in the fall. Well, ever since he has become Mykell's buddy. We think Oscar got his name because Oscar is easier to say to a 1 year old then Scarecrow?? Anyways Mykell has loved Oscar since he was bigger than her. I know it's weird but oh, well. Mom and Dad hide Oscar, and eventually he is found by Mykell and she plays with him none stop. Oscar jumps with Mykell, watches movies, colors, talks to Mykell, and is at time the unfortunate victim of her violence--poor Oscar! Last fall I tried to put Oscar on the porch, when we were in the car one day Mykell saw Oscar on the porch and cried and cried she told me Oscar was cold and needed to come in the house. On Monday night poor Oscar snapped in half. Now only top half Oscar plays with Mykell~~what do you think fix him or throw him away??

Okay so I know these pictures look cold, but it really was a pretty nice day out. We got together with Kelli and Radley for a outing to our world famous Willow Park Zoo!! (I guess the pictures of the Elephants and Panda's and things didn't turn out, but we got a nice one of Mykell feeding the ducks!!). Mykell had fun running around and feeding the ducks, and then making some new friends on the play ground. Porter looked bored most of the time, and Radley seemed more interested in Porter than anything else. I had a great time talking to someone older than 3 and getting outside! Thanks Kelli, can't wait to do more!!

New things!!

So "little" Porter has recently found his tongue, it is so funny. He has it out A LOT! Especially when he just wakes up and is in a pretty good mood! He likes to have it out when he is in his jumper. He just bounces up and down with his tongue wiggling--pretty funny! So he has officially got teeth!! It started the first of the week. Our poor little guy has handled it worse then RSV. He has had a fever most of the week, and been pretty grumpy (screaming for hours on end at times!). I think he has a cold on top (and I'm worried about another ear infection). Mykell and I have both had a cold so I'm pretty sure that's part of his problem. It is sad to seem him be so sad, he has NEVER been like this before. His bottom right tooth poked through on Tuesday evening, and this bottom left is working on it currently (hopefully he will cut it soon and will feel better!!). Who knew teething could be so bad!

Disney on Ice

Me and my friend Emily took our little princesses to Disney on Ice last Friday. It was SOO much fun (besides the temper tantrums on the way down fighting over who got to wear the Cinderella shoes!). They both got Cinderella dresses for their birthdays (which are 5 days apart). The had a BLAST. Mykell was so into it. During the Little Mermaid part they had a big balloon Ursula come out and Mykell was screaming "watch out Aerial"!! She danced during the music. Pointed at things and told the people behind, in front and to the side of us about what was going on (I don't think we were their favorite!!). Halle and Mykell got Cinderella dolls at the show (conveniently bought before hand by their mom's at a fraction the price!!). The whole way home their were talking about it, giggling and dancing in their car seats. We stopped in Layton and ate at Cafe Rio where Halle and Mykell stood on their chairs (I know bad mom) and danced and got got laughs from everyone around. Those little girls are so cute. On the way home Mykell had to call her grandma's and her dad to tell them all about it. The next morning when I went to get her up she had dresses herself in her dress again and told me she was ready to see Micky Mouse! We will have to go again!

So I have been wanting to write this for a while to remember some of Mykell's funny sayings. Today I'm TRYING really hard to stay awake so I felt like no time better than now! As a little girl she says the FUNNIEST things all the time. She has come up with many ways to tell me no such as: "Um, of course I not," "It is NOT a possibility", " "NO", "Why" "Probably I won't" "Not yet anymore", and "In a minute (I think she got this one from me!)" She phrases a lot of things in questions some of my favorites: "Did you make a mess?" (meaning she made a mess) "Did you break mom's things?" (you can figure that one out yourself!) . She LOVES her little brother, she calls him her buddy, her palo, she kisses him gives him hugs, and says "your so cute", "hey palo are you my friend?", "I love you buddy" she is a great sister until she says "Port don't pull my hair", "Port don't hit me", and "Port don't touch me". She has been so fun, she is coming up with new things all the time. When we drive down the road she looks at the store signs and says "Mom do you see all the ABCD's". I love her so much, and my favorite saying "Mom I love you, you are my best friend!!" Love you to Mykell!

Swings and Slides again

One of Mykell's FAVORITE things last year was playing at the park. Saturday we took her and she played and played and played. One of the slides is rather fast and she would come hurling out and land on her back on the ground. She would look stunned and then start laughing and get up and keep on playing. Porter really likes the swing and giggled when we would go up! We had so much fun, it wasn't too fun to wake up Monday morning to this...(okay so I couldn't make the snow picture go where I wanted to but you get the idea!!)

I asked Mykell if she wanted to play in the snow, she said no she wanted to play on the grass, me too!

I have been a little behind in updating my blog. Nothing great has happened but I needed to catch up on a few things. I recently published by blog from last year and I love it. I decided that I'm going to be better at updating so I have a more accurate book. ANYWAYS, my parents have a chocolate fountain and every once and a while we get together and go to town! They had a dessert night a couple weeks ago (of course I had to work) and Elliot and the kids went! I heard they had a blast, don't tell the pediatrician but I heard even little Porter enjoyed some!! Mykell told me all about it the next day! Later apparently Mykell moved the kitchen chairs around and assigned everyone a seat, lucky them (and what good sports too!!)

Today is out 6th wedding anniversary! Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. It's amazing to think back on all that we have done, and been through. For sure the favorite thing is our two beautiful kids. We LOVE them. Yesterday we were able to spend the day in Salt Lake, shopping, watching a movie, and eating. Usually we spend the night (or 2) but we kind of figured little Porter is still to young for us to leave over night, but we had a blast just being together.

So Porter started getting sick the day of my Grandma's funeral (we all did actually). He got worse and worse and finally Saturday (I know I'm the bad mom that waits until the doctor's office is closed to take her kids in) I took him to InstaCare. He has RSV, and an ear infection. The doctor also thinks he has pneumonia, but wasn't sure????? He is on nebulizer treatments, and antibiotics. So far no oxygen. He still has a fever, but is acting like sute a trooper. He hates his breathing treatments and just cries. He is not much of a complainer so it breaks my heart. Hopefully he will be getting better soon.

Little Mykell turned 3 yesterday, I can't believe how fast time has gone. It was the funnest birthday yet. She woke up and knew that this was a special day for her. She was happy all day (except for when she had to go to bed!). She LOVED all her presents, and was so happy that people came to see her. Unfortunatley Porter has RSV so some of the people couldn't come (so sorry Kelli) we didn't want to make other kids sick. Grandma Debbie got Mykell the CUTEST princess cake that she LOVES!!! Her and her dad went to Salt Lake today to the Zoo. Mom and Porter had to stay behind. Mykell is a firecracker, but that makes life so much fun. She loves her little brother (except when he gets her toys), she hates others to be sick or sad, she goes ALL the time, she loves to talk, run, loves Disney Princesses (and her new Cinderella dress), her family, and so much more. Love you Mykell!!
