Sick little Porter :(

So Porter started getting sick the day of my Grandma's funeral (we all did actually).  He got worse and worse  and finally Saturday (I know I'm the bad mom that waits until the doctor's office is closed to take her kids in) I took him to InstaCare.  He has RSV, and an ear infection.  The doctor also thinks he has pneumonia, but wasn't sure????? He is on nebulizer treatments, and antibiotics.  So far no oxygen.  He still has a fever, but is acting like sute a trooper.  He hates his breathing treatments and just cries.  He is not much of a complainer so it breaks my heart.  Hopefully he will be getting better soon.

Happy Birthday Mykell!!!

Little Mykell turned 3 yesterday, I can't believe how fast time has gone.  It was the funnest birthday yet.  She woke up and knew that this was a special day for her.  She was happy all day (except for when she had to go to bed!).  She LOVED all her presents, and was so happy that people came to see her.  Unfortunatley Porter has RSV so some of the people couldn't come (so sorry Kelli)  we didn't want to make other kids sick.  Grandma Debbie got Mykell the CUTEST princess cake that she LOVES!!! Her and her dad went to Salt Lake today to the Zoo.  Mom and Porter had to stay behind.  Mykell is a firecracker, but that makes life so much fun.  She loves her little brother (except when he gets her toys), she hates others to be sick or sad, she goes ALL the time, she loves to talk, run, loves Disney Princesses (and her new Cinderella dress), her family, and so much more.  Love you Mykell!!

Grandma Dunkley

My dear sweet Grandma passed away yesterday at McKay-Dee Hospital.  She died very suddenly but I was so blessed to be at the hospital and kiss her goodbye.  I just wanted to take a minute and express my feelings.  She was loved by so many, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, she was a gifted violinist, she loved her family (and had a large one at that), she was a great cook, she loved her friends and neighbors and served them well, she loved the gospel and had a large testimony.   I miss the Sunday night waffles, and the marshmallow drawer.  She always tried to keep things upbeat, even right before her final surgery she was joking with the staff.  She was very appreciative of all the care she received.  She LOVED all her grandchildren and the little great-grandchildren.  This is the last picture I think I took of her.  It was at my house right after Porter was born.  I learned yesterday that you might not have another chance to say goodbye to someone.  I have always known that (especially in my line of work) but it was brought closer to home yesterday.  I hope to live my life to make her proud, and also to not take those I love for granted.  I hope that when my time comes I can have as many people that love be by my side as she did.  It is truly a testiment to how she lived to see the love of those she left behind!! I love you Grandma...until we meet again!
