6 months old

So my little buddy is SIX MONTHS old. I can't believe it, time flies for reals. This sweet little guy has been such a blessing in our home. He is so much fun!! He is happy most of the time, so calm, and goes along for anything!! He still is not the worlds best sleeper, but makes up for it with his sweet attitude. He started out as such a tiny thing and now is anything but small. He loves his family, and even puts up with his sisters tantrums! He loves to be held, play with his toys, be sung to, have baths with Mykell (as long as she doesn't drowned him!), bottles, and his dad. He hates, solid foods, and fasting!!! It took so long to get him here, but time is flying by now he is here. I can't get enough of my sweet little Porter!!

Solid Foods!!

So we are just starting Porter on Solids, and itis going as well as you can see from the above pictures!!! He HATES all solids. Mykell was so good with foods, any tips????

Elliot's Surprise Party

On January 2nd I had a fun surprise party for Elliot's graduation. It was so much fun! I planned it for months. He had no idea and I think had a great time. I invited all our family and some friends. We had dinner from Costa Vida and desserts from Hamiltons (yummy!). We had a great time just enjoying each other's company. Thanks SOOOOO much to everyone that came and helped out, I couldn't have done it without you.

Last one!!!!!!!

Okay, this is the last one for today!! I'm not really caught up, but done for today!! This weekend my brother Brett reported his mission. He did such a great job. It has been so fun to beable to be all together as a family. We were able to take pictures of the 4 of us siblings for the first time in a while (don't pay attention to Josh (the youngest) he is just 13 and can't be helped!!! So Brett (the cute one in the white shirt) is single--tell your friends!! My mom's mom came from Las Vegas for the weekend. It was really fun to see her and catch us again.

Growing Up

My little kids are getting SO big. Mykell turns 3 next month and Porter is almost 6 months old. The past few months have been so busy I just needed to take a "time out" and remind myself of how blessed I am. They are truly angels, and I am so lucky to have them in my home. Mykell loves to "help" me and I am amazed at how fast she is learning. She loves to play with other kids and really has no fear of others. She Loves her "buddy", Porter. Porter may not be the best sleeper in the world but he is the most mellow and good natured little guy. He loves to snuggle and just be with us. I am so lucky!

More Friends

I was SOOOO lucky this month to have one of my good friend come visit. My friend Amanda moved to Alaska 5 years ago. Since then I have only seen her one time. She came to see me ago a while ago--thanks Amanda!! She has the most adorable little girl Kaylynn (I hope it spelled it right!!) Kaylynn was born a few weeks after Porter. It was so great to see her again. Hopefully it won't be to long until I see her again. Maybe next time we can go to her house!

Friends

One of my best friends Emily had a baby the same time I had Mykell. Halle and Mykell don't get to see each other too often, but they play so fun when they do. A couple weeks ago we had Halle over and Mykell and here had soo much fun, we need to do it more. The bottom left picture is the two of them when they were just two months old!

Also, every year we go to Elliot's grandparents and have a party with his dad's family. His grandma Dixie goes to so much work. She makes a wonderfull diner. Then we open presents--it is madness!! All the grandkids and great grandkids get a stocking. She puts so much though into all the stockings and gifts. Porter and Mykell both got little red wagons, Mykell just LOVES them!! They got other toys as well. We love the party and it is so fun to get to see some family that we don't see often. After that we went to his parents for the afternoon. We were unable to get back to his parents on Christmas beacuse of the weather, and I had to work. But it was great to see them while we could!

Dunkley Family Christmas Party!!!!!

Okay so I have A LOT of catching up to do, sorry that I am writing about Christmas now, but I am just getting around to it. We had a great Christmas, we were really blessed!! Every year on Christmas Eve my family has a little Christmas party. We have a Hot Chocolate making competition (in which my 13 year old brother is the judge this year he couldn't decide if I should be 1st or 4th place and decided to give me 4th!) We also open one gift, read the Christmas story and make an ornament. It is pretty fun, this year was made even funner because we were finally all together again!!
